Anglian Water / Elsham Water Treatment Centre

Project introduction
For the Elsham water treatment plant owned by Anglian Water, Hubert was awarded the contract for delivery and installation of 3 micro strainers. The facility in Elsham processes 75 million litres (16.5 million gallons) of water every day. The plant supplies much of the drinking water for Northern Lincolnshire. Anglian Water had a lot of problems with zebra mussels that clog the water inlet pipe from the river Ancholme. The zebra mussel, Dreissena Polymorpha, is a specied of small freshwater Shellfish.
BAPCO / JGC Gulf International
HLPH Facility – Refinery / Seawater intake filtration system
Bahrain
Project introduction
Hubert was awarded the contract from JGC Gulf International Co. Ltd. for the Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO) to improve the seawater filtration system at their HLPH facility. The Sea Water Intake Filtration system had to be delivered including all complementary equipment, items and services to meet the design and environmental conditions. Hubert was responsible for ensuring that the specification was met for all deliveries and services in subcontracting.
Wetterskip Fryslan
Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP)

Project introduction
For the Birdaard waste water treatment plant owned by Wetterskip Fryslân – the regional water board – Hubert was awarded the contract for delivery and installation of a new clarifier. This waste water treatment plant, located in the north of the Netherlands, is already operating with the aid of Hubert thickeners, aerators and clarifiers.
EDF / REEL International
Flammanville Nuclear Power Plant 1 & 2
France
Project introduction
Hubert was awarded the contract for EDF’s nuclear power plant Flamanville 1 & 2 in France for replacement of screening drums via the collaboration with partner Reel International, known from their extensive experience in nuclear projects. Screening drums are part of the seawater intake filtration system. Hubert was responsible for ensuring that the specification was met for all deliveries in subcontracting. This project is a technical outstanding performance and consolidates and strengthens Hubert’s position in this market segment.

Yanbu II Power and Desalination Plant

Project introduction
Hubert was awarded the contract for delivery of the marine package or seawater intake filtration system. Hubert was responsible for ensuring that the specification was met for all deliveries in subcontracting.

Hubert was awarded the contract in collaboration with Taprogge Germany to supply the seawater screening system for the SKH Powerplant in Algeria.

Hubert was awarded the contract by ASE (Rosatom State Corporation Engineering Division) to supply water-treatment units for the GA make-up water installation at the Kurskaya Nuclear Power Plant.

Project introduction
Hubert took care or the overhaul a water intake screen for Pernis refinery, the largest refining site in Europe and one of the largest worldwide. It was a complex project from the removal of the complete screen, renovation under controlled conditions, to reassembly on site.

Project: Replacement of gutter and clearing bridge settling tank at WWTP Birdaard
The elaboration of the drawings with accompanying calculations in the preparation phase were well worked out. The construction of the new gutter and bridge was installed satisfactorily by employees and especially the foreman. The project was completed on time, both financially and in the delivery of product certificates and revision. A great project and end result was achieved through synergy between client and contractor.
