Tailor-made systems for safely shutting off and drying water intakes.

Our sluice gates offer a reliable and fast way to shut off and dry out water intakes and pumping stations for inspection, maintenance or renovation. Each system is fully custom designed based on project specifications and hydraulic requirements.

These sluice gates / stop logs are usually placed on the inflow side of water intake systems, ahead of coarse screens, drum filters or travelling band screens.

The use of sluice gates allows a separate section of the water sytem to be drained, allowing easy, safe and efficient maintenance.

Features

Our sluice gates are fully custom designed to cope with the water pressure in each specific situation. For deeper watercourses, they are constructed in two or more sections. The seals are mounted on the flat side of the gates and installed in the concrete channel walls, ensure optimum sealing and trouble-free installation.

For added convenience, the systems can be complemented with an optional storage frame and cathodic protection, further enhancing both service life and reliability.

Thanks to this well-thought-out construction and high-quality materials, the sluice gates function safely, robustly and maintenance-friendly under all conditions; an essential component of any modern water intake installation.
