Hubert cable-operated trash rake

Efficient removal of medium and large coarse debris.

Features

The Damran-type cable-operated trash rake is a robust bar screen specifically designed for removing medium to large volumes of coarse debris from water intakes. It is suitbable for use at cooling-water intakes, pumping stations and water treatment plants.

The cleaner operates on a cable-driven grab principle. A trolley with nylon wheels moves along guides in the channel. During the downward movement, the grab remains open. At the bottom, the grab closes, after which it lifts the accumulated debris and carries it upwards.
At the top, the debris is automatically scraped off and discharged onto a conveyor belt, concrete chute or container, depending on the installation and customer requirements.

Thanks to its design without moving parts below water level, the Damran is extremely reliable, even during long-term operation and in high-flow conditions.
