Hubert's chain-driven screens are designed for automatic removal of coarse debris from surface water or wastewater in small to medium-sized water channels. This robust screen cleaner delivers reliable performance under a variety of conditions. Designed for fully automatic operation, it removes large amounts of debris in a short time, making it ideal for protecting downstream installations.
Thanks to its chain-driven design, it delivers maximum screening performance with minimum maintenance. Perfectly usable at power plants, desalination plants, drinking water production, industrial water intake systems and at sewage treatment plants (influent).
Features
The mechanically driven screen is designed for automatic removal of coarse debris from surface water or wastewater. The system is used in small to medium-sized water channels and is suitable for situations where large amounts of dirt need to be removed quickly and reliably.
Attached to the chain construction is a series of cleaning elements that move from bottom to top over the screen. This effectively lifts the debris and discharges it above the water surface.
The screen unit remains free of blockages, ensuring constant flow and minimal hydraulic resistance. The screen is fully automated, eliminating the need for manual operation.
Optionally, it can be fitted with a special extension for removing jellyfish, especially for applications in saline or coastal areas.
