Tailor-made systems for safely shutting off and drying water intakes.

Our systems offer a reliable and rapid way of draining large intake channels, pump chambers and waterways for inspection, maintenance or refurbishment. Each unit is designed entirely to order, based on project specifications and hydraulic requirements.

These screens are usually installed on the inlet side of water intake installations, upstream of the coarse screens, drum filters or belt screens.

By using these partitions, a separate section of the duct can be drained, allowing maintenance on pumps or filter systems to be carried out safely and efficiently.

Features

Our stop logs and penstocks are designed entirely to order to withstand the water pressure in any specific situation. For deeper watercourses, they are manufactured in two or more sections. The seals are fitted to the flat side and, together with the guides installed in the concrete channel walls, ensure an optimal seal and trouble-free installation.

For added convenience, the systems can be complemented with an optional storage frame and cathodic protection, further enhancing both service life and reliability.

Thanks to this well-thought-out construction and high-quality materials, the sluice gates function safely, robustly and maintenance-friendly under all conditions; an essential component of any modern water intake installation.
