Hubert screen - chain operated
High debris handling capacity.
Hubert's coarse screens with a rotating chain system are designed for fully automatic operation, it removes large volumes of debris from surface water or wastewater in small to medium-sized water channels. This robust coarse screen provides reliable performance under a wide range of operating conditions. Designed for fully automatic operation. It removes large volumes of debris, including jellyfish and seaweed, in a short time, making it ideal for protecting downstream installations.
Thanks to its chain-driven design, it delivers maximum screening performance with minimum maintenance. Ideal for power plants, desalination plants, drinking water production facilities, industrial water intake systems and wastewater treatment plants.
Features
The mechanically driven screen is designed for the automatic removal of coarse debris from surface water or wastewater. The system is used in small to medium-sized channels and is suitable for situations where large volumes of debris need to be removed quickly and reliably.
Attached to the chain assembly is a series of cleaning elements that move from bottom to top along the screen. These elements effectively lift the debris and discharge it above the water surface.
The screen unit remains free of blockages, ensuring a constant flow and minimal hydraulic resistance. The screen is fully automated, eliminating the need for manual operation.
Optionally, the installation can be equipped with a special extension for removing jellyfish, particularly in seawater intake and coastal applications.
