The design fully complies with stringent operational and environmental conditions. The system not only removes seaweed and debris, but also effectively blocks mussels and jellyfish from the incoming seawater. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This combination of coarse and fine filtration plus low-maintenance dry-setting capabilities ensures a stable, reliable supply of clean seawater to downstream processes within the refinery, which is crucial for continuity of class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For this project, Hubert supplied the sheet pile walls, grate cleaners and belt filters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the water intake, the water is first coarsely filtered by a fully automatic grate cleaner to stop coarse dirt. The water then flows through belt filters for finer filtration (dual flow). Debris is removed and discharged above deck with nozzles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upstream and downstream sheet pile walls are provided to allow the canals to be drained for
